Flying back from NYC 🛫

Overall vibes around #climateweekNYC were #positive, #energetic, and #ambitious yet, acknowledging the reality that collectively there’s more to be done and to be fixed. That’s was a good #grounding.

My personal takeaways & Observations

1️⃣ While Tech solutions wouldn’t magically guide us through #climatechange but there is lots of interest to inviste in it (not just financial capital)

2️⃣ #Resiliency (from understanding climate risk through quantifying its impact $$$ to seeking informed guidance on adaption measures) was consistently present in various discussion. Even it’s intersection with #Insurance Sector.

3️⃣ Navigating the increasingly complicated #reporting & #disclosure requirements is overwhelmingly daunting and can, in some cases limit impactful #climate_action.

4️⃣ #Sustainable_Financing is as always a stabled topic of interest. Glad to see Climate Bonds Initiative new Resileincy Taxonomy (will read and reflect upon on a later post) and discussions about financing nature based solutions.

🌟 reconnecting with #friends is #invaluable and returning home with new friendships is a #joy
